as always for Gideros SDK,

and another news is that (after many users requests)
i’m also “thinking” for a POSSIBLE PORTING FOR OTHER SDK (Corona SDK)…
(but ONLY after GIDEROS Release eventually)

and yes i don’t like to ask money but if you can donate !

Hi Guys just a “fast update” to add some new features (requested by users)

This is new v.1.15 Release log:

+ IMPROVED function CTNTAnimator:setVisible(isVisible) isVisible default = true (so if you call setVisible() now is true by default.)
+ Added function CTNTAnimator:getCurrentFrame() – return current frame animation number. (Asked by tom2012)
+ Added function CTNTAnimator:pauseAnimation() — pause current animation (Asked by tom2012) and release event “ANIM_PAUSED” (see example 4)
+ Added function CTNTAnimator:unPauseAnimation() — unpause current animation (Asked by tom2012) and release event “ANIM_UNPAUSED” (see example 4)

This is a BUG Fix Release

Fixed Events Release for Virtual PADS

Fixed GFX Layer Error on Virtual PAD

Add a new Touch modality based on radius

so now Virtual pad can handle touches also on user defined radius. (see docs and examples for more infos)

TNT Collision Engine is a set of functions to detect collision between to sprites (or video regions) these can be points, boxes, circles or oriented boxes regions.
This regions can be uses as collision ”mask” to detect when two objects collides.
TNT Collision engine is optimized for speed (Gideros C++ Native Code Plugin) and easy usage so no physics behavior are used/returned/calculated;

if you need them is better to use a physics engine (like Box2D that is integrated with Gideros SDK).

after many hours of work finally i’m almost ready to release my new Library for Gideros SDK (www.giderosmobile.com).

TNT Native Collision Engine a native (c++) plugin for collision detection.

Why you should be use this libs when Box2d do the same things ?

first i need to say one thing:

*** if you need more accurate collision detection with physics interaction then my lib is not for you. ***

i’ve made this libs for *simple* but *FAST* (really FAST) collision detection to use in my next project.

TNT Collision can now handle some kinds of collision like:

point->box, point->circle, point->oriented Box

circle->circle, circle->box, circle->oriented Box

box->box, oriented box->oriented Box

with any handle point.

i hope to release in next 2-3 days.
